ST. FRANCIS, Wis. — A dramatic police chase through St. Francis ended early Thursday morning when a suspect vehicle collided head-on with a squad car, leading to the arrest of two Wisconsin men.
Police said the incident began when an officer attempted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of East Howard Avenue. The vehicle’s registered owner, a 46-year-old Milwaukee man, was wanted on an outstanding warrant and had a revoked driver’s license. When the driver refused to stop, the pursuit escalated.

According to the St. Francis Police Department, the suspect vehicle entered Highway 794 from East Howard Avenue, sparking a 2.5-mile chase. The pursuit continued to South Carferry Drive, where the vehicle briefly stopped at a gated entrance before attempting to turn around.
