According to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, the identity theft occurred on October 16, when the suspect accessed a victim’s account at the NEW Credit Union and made a fraudulent cash withdrawal.
The crime was officially reported to authorities on October 30, prompting detectives to review surveillance footage and gather available evidence from the credit union.
Investigators stated:
“The suspect used the victim’s identity to make a cash withdrawal and remains unidentified at this time.”
Despite obtaining multiple surveillance photos of the individual, the sheriff’s office has not yet been able to confirm the suspect’s identity.
