Wisconsin Teacher’s Aide Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teen She Began Grooming at Age 12

FOND DU LAC, WISCONSIN — A 41-year-old teacher’s aide at a Fond du Lac Christian school has been arrested and charged after investigators say she engaged in a sexual relationship with a teen boy she began grooming when he was 12 years old.

The suspect, identified as Stephanie Jensen, was employed at Faith Lutheran School, a private 3K–8th grade school, when she allegedly began a multi-year pattern of grooming and abuse involving the victim.

Police: Relationship Began After Years of Grooming

According to a criminal complaint filed Monday in Fond du Lac County Court, the victim told investigators he was in eighth grade when Jensen first began acting “flirty” with him while she worked as a second-grade teacher’s aide at the school.

He said the relationship escalated when he was 15 years old, leading to multiple sexual encounters before he turned 16.

“Victim 1 mentioned that Stephanie Jensen was not only sending him nude pictures, but that she was sending his buddies nude content as well,” the complaint stated.

Detectives said the sexual contact continued until the boy turned 17. The victim also claimed that Jensen sent explicit photos and videos not only to him but to some of his underage friends.

Suspect Denied Sex but Admitted Sending Nude Photos

When confronted by detectives at her home, Jensen denied having sex with the boy but allegedly admitted to sending explicit photos and videos. Officers said Jensen resisted arrest, refusing to stand when told she was being detained.

She was eventually taken into custody and charged with:

  • Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child

  • Child Enticement

  • Exposing Intimate Parts to a Child

  • Possession of Child Pornography

Faith Lutheran School Fires Employee

Following her arrest, Faith Lutheran School confirmed Jensen’s termination in a public statement issued to local media.

“Faith Lutheran School has terminated the employment of Stephanie Jensen upon formal charges being filed in court,” the school said.
“The faculty, staff, and administration at Faith are committed to the safety and care of our students, staff, families, and community. We pray for all who are affected by these events.”

Jensen has been ordered to avoid all contact with minors, the victim, and social media platforms pending trial.

Court Proceedings and Potential Sentence

Jensen made her initial court appearance on Tuesday and faces decades in prison if convicted on all counts. Prosecutors said additional charges could be filed as the investigation continues.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging anyone with information or concerns about possible additional victims to contact authorities.

This case adds to growing concerns about educator misconduct and online exploitation in Wisconsin schools. For continued coverage of crime and court updates, visit ChicagoMusicGuide.com.
