Rachael Davis to Headline Oasis Family Resource Center Benefit Concert With 1000 Watt Prophets

CADILLAC, Michigan — Celebrated vocalist and songwriter Rachael Davis will headline a special benefit concert for the Oasis Family Resource Center, joined by 1000 Watt Prophets, on Friday, Oct. 4, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Elks Lodge, 122 S Mitchell St, Cadillac.
About Rachael Davis
Born into a musical family, Davis developed her style from a childhood shaped by her father’s eclectic cassette collection, blending film soundtracks with folk legends like John Hartford. That influence helped her create what she affectionately calls “Motown-Banjo” — a distinctive mix of folk, swing, jazz, and blues.
Davis is a multi-instrumentalist and award-winning songwriter, praised for her soulful voice and ability to connect across cultures. Critics have called her “a stunning voice of diva proportions” (Phil Madeira) and “a bold explorer in the undefined territory of her human voice” (Claudia Schmidt).
A Night of Music and Community Support
The Cadillac performance will showcase Davis’ mix of original songs and timeless covers, alongside powerful accompaniment on guitar, banjo, upright bass, and ukulele.
The evening also features 1000 Watt Prophets, adding their own high-energy sound to a night dedicated to raising funds for the Oasis Family Resource Center, which provides critical support to families in crisis.
