Kentucky Mother Arrested After Children Found Living in Apartment With Feces on Walls

OAK GROVE, Ky. — A 36-year-old Kentucky mother has been arrested on child endangerment charges after police discovered she and her three children living in an apartment with feces smeared on the walls and trash littering the floors.

According to the Oak Grove Police Department, officers were contacted by the Department of Community Based Services about unsanitary conditions inside a Meadow Lane apartment.
When officers arrived, they found feces on the walls and garbage throughout the unit, conditions deemed unfit for children.
Mother Identified and Arrested
Police identified the mother as Jessica Reeve, who admitted to living in the apartment with her two 10-year-olds and a 6-year-old child.
Reeve was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
