One Man Hospitalized After Early Morning Shooting in Lexington’s Pimlico Parkway Area

LEXINGTON, Ky. — A man is recovering after being shot early Saturday morning in a Lexington neighborhood, according to the Lexington Police Department.
Shooting on Mt. Rushmore Way
Officers were dispatched around 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 20 to the 1100 block of Mt. Rushmore Way in the Pimlico Parkway area. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
Authorities confirmed the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police Say No Ongoing Threat
Investigators said an initial review of the scene indicated there was no ongoing threat to the public. No details about a suspect or possible motive have been released at this time.
