GREEN BAY, Wis. — Residents across central and east-central Wisconsin should prepare for unsettled weather conditions tonight and into the early part of the week, with forecasters warning of storms, dense fog, and possible travel hazards.

Storms and Fog Overnight

The U.S. National Weather Service in Green Bay reports that isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop overnight Sunday, Sept. 21, with locally dense fog forming across much of the region. Overnight lows are forecast to fall into the mid-50s to low 60s.

Monday’s Severe Weather Risk

On Monday, Sept. 22, additional showers and storms are expected, with a few strong systems possible in central and east-central Wisconsin.

These storms may bring:

  • Hail
  • Gusty winds
  • Localized heavy rainfall

Daytime highs will range from 69 to 76 degrees.

Weather Outlook Into Midweek

The unsettled pattern will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 23, with scattered storms persisting and temperatures holding steady in the mid-60s to upper 70s.

By Wednesday, Sept. 24, skies are forecast to clear, leaving partly cloudy conditions and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Drivers should be cautious during morning and evening commutes, as dense fog may reduce visibility in some areas. Localized flooding or downed tree limbs could also lead to travel delays if storms intensify.
