Heavy Rainfall Contributes to Crash on I-69 in Caldwell County

CALDWELL COUNTY, KY — Authorities say heavy rainfall played a role in a traffic accident Monday morning on Interstate 69, leaving a young driver injured.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred near the 74-mile marker on I-69.
Deputies said a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Keli Reynolds of Madisonville lost control while traveling in wet conditions, hydroplaned, and overturned in the median.
Driver Taken to Hospital
Reynolds was transported to Baptist Health Regional Medical Center for treatment. Details on her condition have not been released.
Officials emphasized that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
