Man Hospitalized With Life-Threatening Injuries After Stabbing at Covington Food Mart, Suspect Arrested
COVINGTON, KENTUCKY — A 42-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing at Bob’s Food Mart left another man critically injured Wednesday evening, according to the Covington Police Department.
Police said the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the neighborhood store. Responding officers found an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen, and emergency crews rushed him to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Suspect in Custody on First-Degree Assault Charge
Officers identified the suspect as Isaac Boozer, who was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree assault, a Class B felony carrying penalties equivalent to attempted murder.
Boozer is currently being held at the Kenton County Detention Center as detectives continue to investigate the motive and circumstances behind the attack.

The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition, and police have not released his name pending family notification.
