Parker Mccollum’s Huntington Concert at Marshall Health Network Arena Is Canceled, With Ticketmaster Refunds Set for Fans Who Bought Thursday’s Show
HUNTINGTON, WV — Parker McCollum’s concert at Marshall Health Network Arena in Huntington, West Virginia, has been canceled just days before the country star was set to take the stage Thursday, Aug. 20.
The arena announced the change Tuesday and said the show had been planned with opening acts Max McNown and Annie Bosko.
Fans are told how refunds will work
According to the arena, anyone who bought tickets through Ticketmaster will receive an automatic refund back to the original payment method. Fans do not need to submit a separate request.
The venue said refunds may take several business days to show up. People who bought tickets at the box office can bring them back for a refund during normal business hours.
The cancellation came without a public explanation
McCollum’s marketing team had emailed The Herald-Dispatch on Monday to remind readers that tickets were still available. When asked Tuesday why the concert was being called off, the agency did not give a direct explanation.
The arena said it was sorry for the inconvenience and directed ticketholders to Ticketmaster customer service, the box office at 1 Civic Center Plaza, or the venue’s phone line for help.
What ticketholders can do next
The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans with questions can also call Ticketmaster at 1-800-653-8000 or the arena at 304-696-5990, ext. 3510.
No additional comment from the arena was available by press time Tuesday.
