Willis Tower Summer Concert Series Brings Free Outdoor Music to the Heart of Chicago

CHICAGO — One of the city’s most iconic landmarks is once again transforming into a vibrant open-air stage. The Willis Tower Free Summer Concert Series has returned to the Outdoor Terrace in Catalog, offering live music, skyline views, and happy hour eats every other Thursday evening this summer — all for free.
From soul to 90s hits and Fleetwood Mac tributes, the series is a celebration of local talent and community spirit, bringing people together on the scenic fourth floor for music, sunsets, and signature bites from Rick Bayless’s Tortazo.
Sunset Sounds on the Terrace
The concerts run from 4:30 to 6:30 PM and are produced by Magnificent Events and Entertainment, showcasing standout Chicago-area artists in an intimate outdoor setting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn blankets and sunglasses to relax on the terrace while taking in live music and evening sun.
For those looking to snack, terrace-level happy hour specials will be available from Catalog restaurants, including Tortazo’s bold Mexican flavors and summer-ready cocktails.
