Yungblud Brings a Montana Couple Onstage at Billings Arena to Reveal Their Baby’s Gender, Turning a Crowd Moment Into a Surprise Fans Will Remember
BILLINGS, MT — Yungblud turned a recent concert in Billings into a family milestone when he invited a couple onstage to help reveal their baby’s gender. The moment unfolded at First Interstate Arena after the pair held up a sign asking, “We are pregnant, do our gender reveal.”
The British singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, joked that he had never done a gender reveal before, but agreed to take part anyway. Once an envelope containing the answer was passed down to him, he quickly changed course and brought the couple up to share the moment in front of the crowd.

After asking the couple to introduce themselves, Harrison had the audience cheer them on before opening the envelope. He said he was nervous too, then paused the pair with their eyes closed while he read the result.
He announced that they were expecting a girl, then hugged the couple as the room reacted. Harrison later described the experience as something he would remember forever and called bringing life into the world “a beautiful” day.

The onstage reveal arrived only days after Yungblud joined The Smashing Pumpkins at Lollapalooza 2026 for “Luna,” from the band’s 1993 album Siamese Dream. He had already played his own set that day, then returned for the guest appearance that he called a dream come true.
That collaboration followed an earlier version of Yungblud’s song “Zombie” with the Pumpkins, and he has said Siamese Dream was a major influence on him. Billy Corgan also praised him, saying his “star shines bright.”
Recent cancellations and personal reflection add context to the moment
Yungblud had recently withdrawn from Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary, saying he was taking time off to work on himself. The cancellation came after he spoke publicly about struggling emotionally following his headline set at BludFest 2026 in Czechia.
Against that backdrop, the Montana surprise stood out as a lighter, more intimate scene in the middle of an otherwise busy run. For the fans in the arena, it offered an unscripted concert memory that mixed rock-show spectacle with an ordinary life event.
