London Police Searching for Van Owner Tied to Weekend Theft at Pit Stop Market

LONDON, KENTUCKY — Police in London are asking for the public’s help identifying the owner of a van believed to be tied to a weekend theft investigation.

According to the London Police Department, the incident happened around 9 a.m. Saturday at the Pit Stop Market on Barbourville Road, when officers were called to investigate a reported theft.

Police Release Images of Suspect Vehicle

Investigators said they’ve released photos of a van suspected to be connected to the theft and are working to identify its owner. Authorities believe the person associated with the van may have valuable information that could help solve the case.

“We’re asking anyone who recognizes this vehicle or knows who it belongs to, please contact us immediately,” a department spokesperson said Monday.

Police have not disclosed the type of items stolen or the total value of the theft but confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
