Green Bay Man Arrested After Armed Robbery at Ashwaubenon Circle K

ASHWAUBENON, WISCONSIN — A Green Bay man is behind bars after allegedly robbing a Circle K convenience store in Ashwaubenon late Monday night, prompting a rapid police investigation that led to his arrest within 24 hours.

According to Ashwaubenon Public Safety, officers were called to the Circle K at 585 Mike McCarthy Way around 11:20 p.m. on November 3 after receiving reports of a robbery.

Armed Robbery Reported on Mike McCarthy Way

Police said a store clerk provided a physical description of the suspect, who had fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived. Despite immediate efforts to locate him, the suspect initially remained at large.

Throughout the following day, investigators reviewed evidence and coordinated with Green Bay Police, eventually identifying the suspect as Bernard Holloway, a resident of Green Bay.

Suspect Arrested Following Joint Investigation

Holloway was taken into custody around 12:59 p.m. on November 4, less than 14 hours after the incident, following a joint operation between Ashwaubenon Public Safety and Green Bay Police.

Authorities confirmed that Holloway was booked into the Brown County Jail on the following preliminary charges:

  • Armed Robbery with Threat of Force (Felony)
  • Retail Theft (Misdemeanor)

Officials have not released Holloway’s age or whether a weapon was recovered at the scene. The case remains under review by the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.

Investigation Continues

Police have not reported any injuries from the incident. Detectives are continuing to investigate whether the robbery may be connected to other thefts or armed incidents in the Green Bay area.
