Wisconsin Fugitive Caught After Massive Drug Bust at Tennessee Walmart — Police Find 10 Pounds of Marijuana, Meth, and Mushrooms Inside Camper
MURFREESBORO, TENNESSEE — A man wanted out of Wisconsin on federal fugitive warrants was taken into custody Thursday after police uncovered a drug stash inside a camper parked at a local Walmart, authorities said.
According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, the investigation began when officers responded to a call about a woman who had been dropped off with all her belongings at the Walmart located on Old Fort Parkway.
Detectives later executed a search warrant on a nearby camper in the parking lot, where they made a startling discovery.
Police Discover Multiple Drugs Inside Camper
Inside the camper, police found approximately 10 pounds of marijuana, as well as methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia, according to a department statement.
Authorities confirmed that the camper’s driver — who was wanted out of Wisconsin on federal fugitive from justice warrants — was immediately taken into custody.
The suspect was transported to a local hospital for evaluation before being booked into custody.
