Noah Kahan Joins Fenway Music Hall of Fame After Record-Setting Four-Night Boston Run at Fenway Park
BOSTON, MA — Noah Kahan’s four-night stand at Fenway Park ended with a surprise that matched the scale of the moment. The Vermont singer was inducted into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame after becoming the first artist to sell out four consecutive nights at the iconic Boston venue.
The announcement landed during the final show, turning an already emotional home-region victory lap into something even bigger for fans who filled the stadium across the run.
A family reveal made the stadium moment hit harder
One of Kahan’s recurring concert bits involves answering a ringing payphone onstage and joking with mystery callers. On the last night, the call came from someone much closer: his mother, Lauri Berkenkamp.
Appearing on the JumboTron, she congratulated him on the sold-out streak and then revealed that Fenway Park and the Boston Red Sox were officially inducting him into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame. Kahan looked stunned as the crowd absorbed the news with him.
Kahan enters a short list of Fenway honorees
The honor places Kahan alongside a very small group of artists previously recognized by the stadium: Billy Joel, Paul McCartney and Zac Brown Band. He is only the fourth recipient of the Fenway Music Hall of Fame distinction.
After the surprise, Kahan had to pivot quickly into his next song, “She Calls Me Back,” and joked through the moment by acknowledging how wild the announcement was before moving on with the set.
Boston also marked the week with an official Noah Kahan Day
The Fenway tribute was not the only civic nod Kahan received during the milestone week. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey also declared July 11 as “Noah Kahan Day” in recognition of his music and the historic achievement at Fenway Park.
Kahan is set to continue The Great Divide Tour with upcoming dates in Chicago, New York and elsewhere across North America before taking the tour overseas later in the year.
