Mayfield Man Arrested Again After Deputies Find Meth and Marijuana in Early Morning Raid
MAYFIELD, KENTUCKY — A 63-year-old Mayfield man already facing drug charges is now in custody again after Graves County Sheriff’s deputies discovered methamphetamine and marijuana during a pre-dawn raid at his apartment early Thursday morning.
According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment on North 2nd Street as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Inside, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, leading to new charges against the resident, Leonard Starks.
Repeat Offender Arrested With Meth and Marijuana
Deputies confirmed that Starks was already out on bond for previous meth possession charges when the new evidence was discovered.
“This was part of a continuing investigation into drug activity in the Mayfield area,” the Sheriff’s Office said, noting that multiple controlled substances were recovered during the search.
Authorities said Starks was cited for new offenses, including possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, and was transported to an out-of-county detention center following his arrest.

The Mayfield Police Department assisted deputies during the early morning operation, ensuring perimeter security and evidence collection at the apartment complex.
